Service Above Self - Working Together for the Common Good
Rotary is one of the most effective humanitarian
organizations in the world with 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs in
200 countries. Its motto for individual members is "service above
self.” Internationally, Rotary’s efforts promote health and
literacy, reduce poverty and hunger, fight pollution, assist in disaster
situations, and attempt to build peace and goodwill internationally. Rotary
clubs are also involved with numerous projects to improve and enhance
their local communities.
Chartered January 20th, 1953, Burlington Rotary Club (#5939) has played a major role in serving the needs of Burlington Township and Burlington City while also helping with Rotary's international projects.

In this spirit of Rotary our club has performs an extensive list of services that benefits individuals, organizations and the community as a whole. We are proud of our achievements and invite anyone who wants to serve the community to join us and help keep our club a vital part of the Burlington community for many years to come.
